Rangers at Sherwood Pines Forest Park in Mansfield will be asked to wear a woodland fairy dress on May 29th.
Reported by the Chad, the change of uniform is all part of the park's annual Fairy Fair for young visitors.
Children who attend the fair can take part in lots of different fairy-themed activities including face painting, magic and storytelling.
Anyone who comes to the event is invited to wear their own fairy dress or similar-themed children's fancy dress, added the newspaper.
Running between 11:00 and 15:00 BST at the forest classroom near the visitor centre, the day is for children aged three and over who are accompanied by an adult.
For families who want to enjoy the rest of the attractions Sherwood Pines Forest Park has to offer, there is cycle hire, a mountain biking area, waymarked woodland walks and a children's adventure play trail.
