Some 800 people attended the showcase of a princess dress on Sunday (June 22nd), it has been revealed.
The mother of this year's Bo'ness Fair Queen, Marie Thomson, is used to making costumes for her daughter, such as a fairy dress, flower girl outfit and a presentee get-up, reports the Linlithgow Gazette.
Eilidh, 12, told the newspaper that she is "very excited" to be crowned the Fair Queen next week and was totally surprised to be chosen.
"I'm looking forward to all of it - I couldn't choose just one bit of it," she said. "I think it'll all be great."
Mum Marie added: "It's been hard work but it's magic. I feel like my life has totally changed and I am the Queen mother!"
The princess dress showing was held at St Mary's Primary School.
Elsewhere in the area, 11-year-old Heather McCorriston was crowned Queen Elect at Linlithgow Bridge Gala Day last Saturday, reports the newspaper.
