 |
The Heath School in Runcorn and Fairfield High in Widnes have hosted a kind of fairy party, it has been reported.
According to the Runcorn and Widnes Weekly News, the two schools from either sides of the river enjoyed watching performances of fairytale fancy dress as part of the Halton Infant Music Festival.
Fairy Tale was the theme of the two-day event and over 420 children watched youngsters perform songs based on magic and stories.
Janet Whittingham, Fairfield High School music teacher and advisory teacher for Halton, led the event, which involved each participant learning nine songs, the newspaper added.
Heath School hosted the first day, while Fairfield High held the second, it reported.
Meanwhile, Rainbows in both Wragby and north Lincolnshire also got involved with the fairy dress theme recently as they held a fairy/princess fancy dress party to celebrate the Rainbows 21st birthday, reported the Horncastle News.
